MIMIC II Clinical Database: Restricted-Access Data

The MIMIC II Clinical Database includes data for over 26,000 subjects. The PhysioNet/Computers in Cardiology Challenge 2009 makes use of data from 110 of these subjects, and portions of their records are freely available here.

We are pleased to announce that a limited distribution of the entire MIMIC II Clinical Database is now available on PhysioNet. The remaining 26,588 patient records of the database are available as encrypted files to qualified investigators under terms of a data use agreement (DUA). Investigators who wish to obtain access to the database during this beta test are invited to review the DUA and submit an application here.

Applications may require several days for review; please be patient. While waiting, we recommend that you install GnuPG and that you verify that you can successfully decrypt the sample text file we have provided here.
